Under the stewardship of HCDM, the HLDA Workshops and Conferences have been responsible for the CD nomenclature used worldwide. The CD nomenclature is comprised of groups of antibodies having a similar reaction pattern designated as 'Clusters of Differentiation" or CD. Since the first conference – held in Paris in 1982 – the data generated by the HLDA workshops has led to the characterization and formal designation of molecules CD1 to CD350. These CD antibodies are used worldwide for research, differential diagnosis, and for the monitoring and treatment of disease. Please visit the HCDM website at:
