How to get to Barcelona
Barcelona can be easily reached from across Europe as well as from any destination in the world. You can get to Barcelona by several means of transportation. Below you will find information to help you decide which means of transportation best suits your needs:
By Plane
Nearly all attendees should choose Barcelona's El Prat Airport (BCN) for their arrival.
This is the main airport serving Barcelona and is located 12 kilometers south of the city. One can connect to the city center via taxi, bus, or the Metro.
Many European and domestic airlines operate flights to/from El Prat, which in recent years has become an important hub for low-cost carriers.
Barcelona can also be reached by transport links from other European regional airports, including Girona and Reus.
